well HELLOO!! Sorry its been 2 months since a post-yikes!

The NEW 2010 Stampin' UP! catalog arrived today-but it doesnt go live until July 1st! WOWZA! Its truly beautiful! And the goods inside---*sighs*... love love love

my first card, using then ew Level 3 Hostess bundle, one of the awesome things Demos could pre-order June 1st.

Base card and ink is Melon Mambo....wanna dance??

NEW Polkadot ribbon in Crushed Curry...mmmmmm....

Flower stamp is also from the bundle.

And the Thankyou tag..that is a NEW Tag Punch!!!!

OH MY E-GADS a Matchbox Die for your/my/you-need-one BigShot die cutting machine!! Seriously-Y'all need one, need being the operative word! lol

This card uses Washington Apple des. paper, Old Olive, Riding Hood Red, Bashful Blue and Tangerine Tango papers and inks.

That 70s Show.....

So the Girl Scout Father/Daughter Disco dance was on Saturday nite (fever)lol, and here is my sweet duo in their thrifted costumes-sunglasses and all!! I blow dried and foofed up the husbands hair--niiiiice!! lol eww!

I neglected to make him wear some gold chains...a'la 70s used car salesman.

Couldnt find the plaid pants either-but arent those red-orange jeans just HOT!!!!

Looky that blow-dried poofy do he sports!! Thank goodness its back to normal now!

Aaaaand he grew all the facial hair JUST FOR the dance! Isnt he nice! lol

Thank GOODNESS its gone now! achk!

I lived thru the 70s in my teen years-doesnt mean I wanna see it all over again!

I find THIS card I havent posted! I think I made it back in January.

I think I sent it to Amy...;)

I used the SU texture Plates thru my BigShot machine, then had the idea (Im sure like many others did) to sand off the top of the raised embossed design.

With the Designer series paper, it has a white core, so the sanding shows up so cool!

Riding hood Red base card, Candy Lane designer paper,Riding hood Red ink, Love You Much stamp set, Top Note sizzix die for inside of card. Inspired from a swap card from Ruthie Burkey.

I love these little 3x3 note cards! Tiny is always adorable! Baja Breeze and Sahara Sand Textured base cards. New Sweet Slumber designer paper...*sighs* Fab color combos! I used the Heart to Heart punch to punch out different sizes of the Sweet Slumber papers, 4 different sheets (= 8 patterns!) Adhered them on, and popped up a couple hearts with a Dimensional. Scallop punched the edge, layered a red dot strip to the inside.

These were totally inspired by a full size card on Kristina Werners blog

This must be my FAVE paper! Oh wait, I thought Rockabilly was my fave...or Parisian Breeze....

Had a stamp class yesterday (HI Lisa!), lots of fun, it always is!

Rosettes...

Ribbon Rosettes...sigh..I love them!

Pirouette Pink card base, little hearts are first stamped with Frenchy saying from new Rooster Hostess set onto Pink Pirouette. paper, then punched out with new 3 Heart punch and adhered to card front, strip of Riding Hood Red Textured paper, strip of Candy Lane striped, scallop punched out image. and the ribbon rosette behind that.

Take a 12" long pc of wide ribbon (Pink Pirouette 1 1/4' ribbon) and do a running stitch along one edge the whole length. Gather it up til it forms a circle and stitch together. I put Tombow glue around the edge, then dipped in glitter.

Cute...

Riding Hood Red ink and cardstock, Square Scallop punch, 1 3/4 circle punch, Old Olive grosgrain ribbon, and of course Dazzling Diamonds glitter!

Cards for jamis swap...

I LOVE being invited to be in Jamis swap group! Everyone goes above and beyond making the coolest cards! Here's mine-

Top card is a variation of my real swap (bottom cards-both use same supplies)-Kiwi Kiss base stamped with Sweetest Stems set, Raspberry Tart paper, medium Sizzix Scallop Die punched with 1/4" circle punch and cut into fourths, then layered behind the Sweet Stem Embosslits (cuts out and embosses at the same time!) in Pink Pirrouette and Riding Hood Red. RHRed Taffeta ribbon, Scallop Square Punch and half pearls from the Pretties Kit.

Middle card- Hand Drawn Level 3 Hostess bundle, Baja Breeze base card, left edge stamped with just the top of the cupcake swirl. Happy Birthday and striped sides of designer paper from bundle. Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red and Baja Breeze Scallop circle punch, Dazzling Diamonds glitter on cupcake swirls. Kiwi Kiss Striped ribbon.

It gone! Last time I looked it was 60thousand something.......
I was thinking about blog candy, and since I never scroll down to the bottom of my page, I never pay attn. to the counter #. But now I want to! And now Im sad!
